How to Drop Jeans Sizes and Find Your Ideal
Jeans Size
Whether you want to fit into a pair of jeans
that used to fit or want to shimmy into a size you've never been
before, the desire to change your body to fit your jeans can be
great.
I recommend finding your own, personal, ideal weight
and then find a great pair of jeans to show it off.
Every single person is born with their own unique
body, so each one of us has to do our own thing. This list should help you
find the body you were born to have:
-
Create a list of foods you like to eat that are
healthy...
-
Find out what activities you like to do...
-
Think about you, not your weight...
-
Find your natural weight...
-
Find great looking jeans to fit your body...
1. Create a list of foods you like to eat that are healthy
and eat more of those foods.
You would be amazed at how much less unhealthy food
you will consume when you just increase your intake of healthy foods that
you like a little bit. I know it sounds simple, it is, that's the point.
That doesn't mean it's not effective, just the
opposite, it has a double benefit of emotional well-being with physical
well-being.
When your body feels deprived, it will retaliate. It
will not only do anything it can to get weight back that was lost with
deprivation, it will want to gain an extra cushion as well. Just in case you
try and "starve" your body again.
So grab a pen and paper, write a list of your favorite
healthy foods and go shopping. Eat and enjoy, what's the point of looking
good if you don't feel good?
2. Find out what activities you like to do and do them.
I do not exercise. I am active. I like to learn how to
do things, I like to play, I even like to push mow the lawn, at least that
actually accomplishes something. I'm too lazy to exercise and it bores me to
tears if I try.
It's not about exercising, it's about staying active.
If you don't enjoy it, what's the point? I would rather take a martial arts
class and be learning something than sit and spin on an exercise bike.
Even if it's something that doesn't seem physical like
photography, cooking, art or any other kind of classes. They usually are
more physical than you might think and they at least keep you from eating
and you're learning a skill.
One of the best activities is volunteer work. For
example, Habitat For Humanity will give you a great work out, as well as
learning skills and helping others. You'd be amazed at the amount of
benefits you receive from this type of work, both physically and mentally.
3. Think about you, not your weight or how
you look, but about what's inside.
Everyone has their own unique issues.
Some of us are in a situation where we are worried about
everyone but ourselves. Others are so focused on themselves
that it's destructive. Most of us fall somewhere in between
with our own problems.
My weight used to really go up when I
was unhappy and really go down when I was happy. I don't
have any control over my weight. Accepting that and my body
allowed me to find my natural weight and stay there.
I know a lot of people with physical
problems, one day I realized that I was just thankful for my
body and the fact that it works. Then I realized that I was
also grateful for everything about my body, even things that
I had hated about it for years. I don't know what it would
take to get anyone else to feel that way, but I can tell you
it's the best feeling in the world.
I feel as though my body is a gift, it
is completely unique and was meant for me. I was not meant
to have a super model's body, and that's great.
I can only imagine what we could
accomplish if we took 1/10th of the energy that we spend
picking ourselves apart and used it for something positive.
Take a look on the inside, it shows in more ways than you
can imagine on the outside.
4. Find your natural weight and be happy.
The reason that I wrote this article
is because I kept coming across questions that I found
disturbing, such as; How do I drop 4 jeans sizes in 3
months? How do I get to a size 2 by Spring Break? What jeans
size should I be? Is a size 6 in jeans considered fat?
Nothing causes weight gain more than
dieting. Nothing. There are people who are happy and healthy
and have been the same weight most of their life. That is
because they found their natural weight. That is different
for every person.
You must find the right foods, in the
right amounts for you. You must find activities that you
enjoy doing and the right amount for you. You must except
your body for what it is when you do these things, for that
is your natural weight. Love it, it's yours.
5. Find great looking jeans for your body
and then show them off!
